4. Ride a classic car in Cuba

When in Cuba, it will be hard to miss the old vintage cars riding around. You can easily get your first glimpse of them right at the Havana airport. These cars are everywhere and you can rent one at any time. Fun fact, it was difficult to get new car parts, let alone whole cars, imported into the country in the 1950s, leaving the country left with Chevys, Fords, and Pontiacs. So the residents would find their own solutions to keep their cars running by installing Honda or Toyota parts inside the cars like the engine or the steering wheels. A fully Frankenstein car in disguise!

7. Snorkeling or diving in the Bahamas

An activity you can do on almost every island is going snorkelling and diving. Hands down, this activity is an absolute MUST-DO in the Caribbean. With the waters being so clear, you will have every opportunity to see a huge range of sea creatures, some you would never see anywhere else in the world. Divers and even snorkelers can visit shipwrecks and visit large coral reefs. However, in the Bahamas is the Tongue of the Ocean, an almost 6,000-foot oceanic trench that runs along the entire length of the Andros Island coast. This area is the diving spot for those that want an up-close and personal view of sharks. If you’re not too fond of sharks, the other parts of the waters will also have a beautiful selection of sea creatures you can visit such as parrotfish, trumpet fish, and needlefish. Jean-Michel was always fond of the Caribbean, visiting the local sea creatures, and sailing across the waters to embark on new adventures and encapsulate himself amongst such dreamy sceneries. There’s so much to do and so many places to go, the options are endless. But of course, we cannot list them all here as there are so many more islands in the Caribbean! If there is an island you would love to go to but we didn’t cover, reach out to us and we would love to expand our list!
