What is Corporate Gifting?
By Jean Michel has worked alongside several organizations across the city of Calgary to create custom corporate gifts. Organizations such as the Calgary Zoo, Studio Bell’s National Music Centre, and the University of Calgary have reached out to By Jean Michel to design and produce custom gifts to thank their donors.
We have since extended this collaboration to our customers and are available in limited supply. Discover our collection inspired by the organizations which help make Calgary the city it is today!
Who Have We Worked With?
The Calgary Zoo, Alberta, Canada
The Calgary Zoo had made plans to create corporate gifts in partnership with By Jean Michel. The Management team at the Calgary Zoo approached us to create designs to thank their donors. They wanted the designs to be inspired by the animals at the zoo. From here, Jean-Michel had made multiple trips to the zoo to capture the movements and colours of the animals which reside at the heart of the city. Jean-Michel became exceptionally inspired by the dancing feathers of the Whooping Cranes, the Flamingos, and the Mandrills.
Their natural vibrant feathers became the base for a lively scarf design. This was an especially important feature to reflect the zoo, home to animals of various species and a popular destination for all local and international visitors.
Studio Bell – National Music Centre, Calgary, Alberta, Canada
By Jean Michel received a special request from Studio Bell well before its opening date to create new designs on long and square silk scarves to thank their donors. We had the privilege to visit the building before it was opened to explore the modern architectural design of the building. Jean-Michel was in awe of the shapes of the walls and the curves of the ceilings. He took note of how the sun pierced through the glass, adding more depth and dimension to its interior designs.
Jean-Michel made his way across every nook and cranny of the urban architectural giant. He made a multitude of photographs that appropriately reflects Studio Bell’s phenomenally modern character.
The University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada
The University of Calgary had reached out to By Jean Michel to design custom prints to thank their donors. They wanted the designs to be inspired by the thriving campus, home to around 30,000 local and international students. Jean-Michel then trekked across the grounds of the school to capture the best angle and moments to fully represent the university on the scarf. He ventured throughout every department from the Arts to Engineering to find his inspiration.
Jean-Michel looked across the entire façade of the buildings to capture the right reflections reflected by the sun. Can you guess which University of Calgary buildings Jean-Michel found his reflections from?
